What
are the soaps made of?
All
our soaps are made from scratch through the
cold-process method from pure vegetable oils
and butters. No animal fats involved. We do
not test our products on animals.
We also have a nice selection of glycerin soap.
Why use
handmade soap?
Try our
handmade soap and you will know the answer to
this question! Handmade "real" soap
is packed with glycerin, which is wonderful
for your skin. Glycerin is a humectant, which
means it attracts moisture to your skin.
Commercial soap usually has their glycerin
extracted and used in other cosmetic products.
Without the glycerin in the soap, your skin
often feels itchy and dry after using them,
whereas a handmade soap will make your skin
feel soft and moisturized.
I
have sensitive skin. Can I use your products?
Our primary goal is to make products that
pamper your skin. We use only food grade
vegetable oils, natural oxides, micas and
clays for color and the finest natural plant
essential oils and best quality cosmetic grade
fragrances. If you have sensitive skin, you
should be able to use our products without
trouble. People with specific allergy to nuts
or additives should email us before buying
products. Please
note, as with all body products, if you have
very sensitive skin and are prone to excessive
allergic reactions, please do a test patch
before using product.
Do
you mass produce your soap?
No.
Our handmade soap is made in small quality
controlled batches. Our average batch is 4 lbs.
This is the equivalent of about 10-15 bars of
soap. We prefer to make small batches of soap
more frequently, as this assures our customers
that they are getting a fresh product.
Are all the
products always in stock?
Generally, yes. If a product is unavailable,
it will go out of stock until the next batch
is ready (it takes about 3 weeks for a batch
of soap to be ready for sale). If you order an
item that is in process of being made and
there will be a delay on shipping your order,
we'll let you know. Usually there's never more
than 2-3 weeks wait if a product happens
to be out of stock.
How
should your soaps be handled and stored?
Our
soap does not contain the hardeners and
preservatives like commercial bars, so it is
important to keep the soap on a soap deck that
allows drainage in between of usage. If you
wish to store our soap, keep it in a dry dark
place like a linen closet or drawer in the
packaging it came in.
What
is the benefits of 100% natural soy wax candles and soy
tarts?
Soy wax burns
cleaner and longer. It is non-toxic, with no
petrol-carbon soot. Paraffin wax releases thick black
soot when burned, as well as 11 documented toxins, 2 are
carcinogenic - toluene and benzene. Soy wax is
Environmentally Friendly - a renewable source. Soy wax
easily cleans up with soap and water. You'll appreciate
this if you spill some soy wax.

they emit 0% petrol-carbon soot.
- Burn 30% to 50%
longer than paraffin candles.
- Pricing of these
candles is comparable to paraffin candles.
- Soy Candle wax
is made from genetically unaltered
soybeans.
- Research has
shown that soy candles burn cleaner than 100%
beeswax candles.

biodegradable.
- Soybeans are a renewable
source, unlike petroleum based paraffin.
Is PayPal safe? Will they sell my
email address or send me spam?
We use a Paypal Business Account, it is fully integrated
with our secure checkout. PayPal is very well known and
processes millions of transactions a day and have a very
strict customer protection policy.
Your email is safe with us and PayPal. We closely guard
your personal information as does Paypal.
After you make a purchase using PayPal, you are sent one
email confirming that you have made a purchase and one
email informing you of shipment and tracking numbers.
We do not send unsolicitated emails or spam. Paypal does
not send spam either.
What about my credit card
and/or bank account information? Do you receive any of
this?
Absolutely not. We only receive an invoice from Paypal
informing us you paid. We do not even know what type of
funding you used to make your purchase.
I do not have a PayPal account
can I still buy on your website?
Yes. There is an option on the payment page that allows
you to pay for your order with Paypal without an
account. Most of our customers do not have a Paypal
account. How
do you calculate shipping?
Where do you ship? How long does it takes to have my
package mailed?
Shipping is
calculated according to the total of your order. We are
shipping within the USA
and Canada using
Expedited Parcel by Canada Post. A tracking number will
be provided when the package will be mailed. Packages
are normally mailed within 72 hours after getting the
payment.
We can't sell Internationally for the moment.
